Los Angeles County Residential Area

Are you thinking about moving to Los Angeles County? There are a few things you might want to consider before you make your decision.

Affordability

It is one of the wealthiest counties to live in throughout the entire United States. Cities like Westlake Village, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, and Brentwood, are some of the wealthiest cities in all of America. Places like Sherman Oaks, Encino, and Chatsworth are more expensive than the majority of neighborhoods in other states, but they’re not out of the price range of a lot of people. One indicator for this is that there is very little inventory available on the market for homes in most areas in Los Angeles County.

Something else to take into account when purchasing a home in Los Angeles County is that your home will only increase in value over time.

Walkability

Unfortunately, Los Angeles County isn’t known for being walkable. It is the largest county in the United States by square mileage. To drive from certain parts of the county to other parts could take hours. If there’s traffic, it might take 3-4 hours. With that said, Los Angeles County has a number of beautiful walking trails. From mountain trails to beach hikes, and beautiful parks, it has some of the most beautiful outdoor experiences in America.
